Nice to see another person on here. We were getting rather thinned out. Brenda, from experience, nursing at home is much more exhausting than in a care environment. You are on duty 24 hrs out of 24, but nurses get off duty. Done both so am in a position to judge! Do try to get OH to go in for respite care. Explain that its not permanent but you will be in much better condition to look after him if you are rested, and believe that yourself. <3 |
