PC - have to attach a mouse to a LT or else I get v frustrated. So that means using it on a table, which defeats the object!

Morning all

I thought laptops were pcs :-S - unless they are macs

Laptop with cordless mouse, can't get on with touchpad.

Laptop took a bit of getting used to. I use it on a small folding table as it's a bit to hot and heavy for my lap.

Island - you can get laptop trays with built in fans - they are supposed to prolong the life of the battery as well as being more comfortable to use on your lap...........

........but it would add to the weight, not lessen it :-0

Desktop PC for me love my wall mounted flat screen ,,,got new LT few weeks ago but OH uses that with mouse which is better but still prefer my own.......

my old very old hp is brill never fails

my new one an acer is good when it works
its been back to the factory 5 times this year

but has ben behaving since it went back the last time

I love my lappy ..don't really have space for a PC in a van and lappy (2 of them, mine and his) does everything.
I used to use a mouse but gave that up but I now have an external keyboard .....after I killed the other with honey and cinnamon.

Lappy is now 8 years old had a new heart, hands and a few memory boosters But does me okay.

LT for me with no mouse.

First one was a Toshiba, never again, waste of money
always something wrong with it.

Had my Dell one for years and it sits on my desk where
I do all my researching etc.

Aw couldn't be without my laptop now, though I do have a mini-mouse with it, not really keen on the touch pad, (slows me down in Bejewelled)

OH has the desktop PC, he can't use my laptop.

Desk top pc when home and notebook (small laptop) when away from home. Prefer the larger screen and key board of the desk top PC I do use a wireless mouse on the notebook though, hate the touch pad and wish there was a way of turning it off.

I use a lap tray to rest my LT on. :-)
The sort which has a bean bag on the underside.


Stops it getting hot on laps. or where it normally sits, on the bed :-D :-D :-D :-D
