AnnCardiff - you said the boards have been a pleasure to come on, can I say that up until very recently I found it a pleasure to not only read what had been posted but also to participate in the discussions and I would like to see them revert back to that a.s.a.p.

And to those who have trouble controlling their finger movements try this site:-

Hi Ann, I read your post earlier and completely agreed with what you said, there was nothing nasty or unpleasant in it.
Jean xx :-) :-)

Back home now, only been on occasionally while away as we had to find cafes with free WiFi. However, some are missing, can somebody put me in the picture as to whether anyone is on an enforced 'holiday' please. I did actually catch up with a couple of the threads thatw ere RR'd so I am not totally out of the picture. Better get on with unpacking now.

just back - thanks - it wasn't meant to appear nasty in any which way

It's Wimbledon fortnight. I would think quite a few are watching that.

The only threads that are 'missing' are arguments and waggy fingers - let's keep it that way.

amen to that :-D

Too true Rose.

edited... as not applicable & apologies made/accepted

Several people have been missing from the boards over the last few days, others are posting very carefully, possibly because rapped knuckles or the fact that the weather has allowed then to get out into the garden.

GR have obviously done 'a spring clean' of possible 'trouble' threads, well done GR :-D I know they are now keeping a close eye on these threads.

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 28 Jun 2013 14:38

simply because I could not remember my exact words - just that

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 28 Jun 2013 14:41

by the way, I made no accusations whatsoever - none at all - I'll leave it to you to do whatever you think fit - I really don't care any more

AnninGlos Report 28 Jun 2013 14:47

me neither if is was aimed at me.

~Lynda~ Report 28 Jun 2013 14:50

Were you looking for the thread you posted last week NS,? If so GR deleted it, surely there is no need to put a thread up about it, you must already know why they did.

If your unsure, as to why they did, email the office, they'll probably be happy to tell you again, just so you don't make that "error" again :-D

As far as I'm aware no one has been suspended, I know some threads were posted and removed while I was off the boards ( in Wales for 4 days) so I don't know who posted or reported, but it should be remembered perhaps that it is not only the members who post who have the option of reporting those threads ...it could just as easily have been a non paying member ?

~Lynda~

~Lynda~ Report 28 Jun 2013 15:02

So nobody wonders who it was who reported NS's thread last week, it was me, and I used the report facility without feeling guilty too :-)

For the record...Even though I reported the thread I do have friends, am not a moron, and have a life, amazing eh ;-)

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 28 Jun 2013 15:07

and NanaSue comments that my post must have been "nasty" - putting that thought in peoples' heads - yet she never even saw it, so how on earth someone can come up with assumption is ridiculous - as I said before,. no way was it nasty - I'm not in the habit of making "nasty" postings

Oh THAT thread lol Lynda, well it is certainly no surprise that that went, there must have been many people who would have been glad to see it go, whether they reported it or not and whether they were paying members or not.
