I am still reserving Judgement on the Dr .

Watched 5 episodes with previous one - loved him as an actor - not as the Dr but i quite liked most of the stories.

so far i liked episode 1 and found 2 could have been 10 mins long maybe 15 to include the boat ride.

New script writer needs to up his game - not a patch on the previous one -
River Song - Clara - the one with child in the gas mask - The weeping angels - SS madam Pompadour - and thousands more

There were always some good characters and also some very pathetic episodes.

Early days yet

Enjoyed the Rosa episode. Still sitting on the fence about liking her as a Dr.

Would have preferred Alex Kingston. No sure if she has enough presence on screen.

I suppose this week's programme was mainly a thinly veiled dig at Donald Trump plus a swipe at that waste diposal firm.

Thought the spiders were funny - no reason for the trump idiot to shoot the big one even if it was humane in the end.

Haven't seen this weeks yet.

Neither of us are particularly impressed.
I don’t think she shows enough authority; OH says she has no ‘zing’.

We’ll probably still watch - it’s difficult to break a habit of a lifetime.

I didn't see last week's episode until yesterday. Seemed to owe a lot to Alien and also had ideas from Red Dwarf and Hyperdrive.

Well thats Dr Who over with till 2020 as far as weekly episodes .

Only the New Year's show left to go now and nothing next year (maybe a Christmas/New Year Special?)

Jury still out - still not sure I like her - knew after the first 2 episodes I didn't like Peter C as Dr Who - but loved him as an actor - he was too weird in the role like a few of the others, esp Chris Eccleston. I disliked him and always have in everything he has done.

There was a brief trailer for a New Year's 'special' onTuesday 1st January 2019 at 7pm.

"As the New Year begins, a terrifying evil is stirring, from across the centuries of Earth’s history. As the Doctor, Ryan, Graham and Yaz return home, will they be able to overcome the threat to planet Earth?"

Not bothered if we forget to watch or record it.
