I put together the Christmas tree......(Phew!!)

Unravelled the heap of lights and tested.......Yey...Working!

Wrapped the heap of lights round the tree......Switched the lights back on and......

Nuffin!!! :-|

If that wasn't traumatic enough, i decided to console myself and open the Christmas Quality Streets.

You are soooo not going to beeeelieve this......

Only 2 bleddy purple ones in the whole bleddy tin.

How utterly despicable is that!! :-| :-P :-|

Prickles in Disgustedshire. :-P

somebody somewhere has a tin full of purple ones and they probably don't like them!! :-D

Or perhaps the lady at the factory who decides which sweets go in the tin...ate all the purple ones herself.

I am beside meself. I have a tin of spare bulbs somewhere........but i can't for the life of me remember where it is.

Just checked tree lights down from the loft ... working :-D.But they wont be going on the tree until next weekend.They better still be working then. Now need to Check the Quality Street tin. I love those PURPLE ones.The last tin (or plastic pretend tin) had very small chocs and in different wrappers. Not the same at all :-S... not many PURPLE ones either :-| :-|

The purple ones are not quite the same since they swapped the Brazil Nut for Hazelnut.

I much prefer a Brazilian.

I was gutted not to bite into a Brazil .Whats with the hazelnut ?? You get them in all sorts of other chocs. Bring back the Brazil Nut.We have been cheated :-S :-S

I just suck on one for about three weeks.

The good thing is, unlike chewing gum, it doesn't lose it's flavour on the bedpost overnight.

I have been a bit slow on the uptake 'Brazilian' .. Got it now :-D :-D I am usually far more with it. Back to the nuts. Brazil tops Hazelnuts (Hazelnuts are the cheap option for the manufacturers ). Maybe they think we will not notice :-S :-S I dont think so. Brazil Nut and Purple foil is what we know and still expect after how many years .How dare they change it now . I think there willl have to be a demonstration against the new Nut in the purple wrap..Your job Prickles :-D
