Come to the conclusion, I don't like marathons :-)

It can only get better, early days for me, don't care
who goes tonight :-D :-D

I am now trying to avoid all news type facebook pages. Apparently somebody has leaked who goes off. Why would you want to do that to spoil peoples enjoyment of the programme. I really don't want to know in advance.

I agree that eith James or David should go. Possibly james has a greater chance of improvement.
Was dissapointed with Mike Bushell's dance. Didn't like the choreography (katya's fault) and thought that he looked like he was about to collapse part way through the "dance" He tried his best though and the many lifts went well.

Also thought that at least one couple was undermarked and one was over marked.
Wpn't name the latter because they gave it a good go and I don't want to be nasty. Time will tell.

Looking forward to the results show.

Note... I know little to nothing about dancing . The total of my dance experience is Strictly.

Emma, luckily I didn't see before hand who went off the show. Saw it this evening, good show some wonderful dancing by the professional dancers, nothing to spoil my enjoyment of the show.

Right person went off, perhaps he was secretly relieved. Will watch "Takes Two" to find out.

That Katya loves being slung around!! I think it may be either David the footballer or Mike the presenter next week.

Its Movie Week so no doubt they will pull out all the stops.

I did ballet and tap when I was a nipper, and also we went to a few ballroom lessons years ago. But no way would I say I knew what I was talking about. :-D :-D

LondonBelle Report 6 Oct 2019 10:42

Well, it's only Week Two of the competition proper but I thought they had all improved, some were amaaazing :-D :-D

Once again didn't see them all but thought Michelle, Kelvin and Dev were brilliant....for some reason though I can take to Kelvin :-0

Thought Anneka had gone backwards but think that might be due to the choreography :-0. Although, I didn't think Anneka did very well I think she might have a following.....so it is David & Mike in the dance off for me:-D :-D

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 6 Oct 2019 16:13

Ke;vin and Michelle were very good. I like Kelvin as I watched him act in Emmerdale from when he was a little boy.
Anneka really enjoys being there and seems to get a lot out of it, she should really be in the dance off but the public might keep her in. I think it will definitely be David but not sure who the public will not vote for. Mike might have a following.

But I agree there was a lot of improvement in just 2 weeks live (even though the judges called it week 3.

'Emma' Report 6 Oct 2019 17:55

At this stage no one really catches my eye.
Too early for me to see who will leave as maybe
favourites of public.
All are still settling in and who can be great one week
could be rubbish next.
Obvious who should go imo but I don't vote, think those who
are not very good will not get enough time to improve if they can :-)

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 7 Oct 2019 09:42

I think it was the right choice this week. Anneka was struggling and Kevin's choreography was awful.

LondonBelle

LondonBelle Report 7 Oct 2019 09:57

Sadly,I agree Ann :-(

Such a pity as Anneka was really enjoying the experience! :-D

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 7 Oct 2019 10:58

I thought that too Belle, she seemed so appreciative of everything she learnt. I do blame Kevin though, what was he thinking with the sticks? but maybe she would never have mastered the Charleston. I am 100% sure I never would have done. :-D

LondonBelle

LondonBelle Report 7 Oct 2019 12:09

To be honest, Ann....if I hadn't known it was a Charlestown I would never have guessed..... don't know what Kevin was thinking of, Charleston it's not just steps but also using yours arms :-0 Of course, that's my expert opinion ;-) :-D

I thought Anneka's waltz was so elegant last week but this week...... :-(

Wonder who chooses the dance each week? The pro or someone else? :-D

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 7 Oct 2019 14:35

I don't think it is the pro that chooses the dance but I don't know who it is. I wonder if it is the judges?

MotownGal

MotownGal Report 7 Oct 2019 19:08

I think it was best that Anneka left. She seemed to struggle with the dance. I did not recognise it as a Charleston either!

My understanding of the dances is that they all have to do a set amount of dances per series, which are allocated to them. Then the pro works out the choreography. I don't think Kevin did her any favours, sadly.

David or Mike next I reckon. :-(

MotownGal

MotownGal Report 13 Oct 2019 11:24

Oh dear, another near two hour marathon! :-P

I don't know how much longer I will be watching, I am getting fed up with all the screaming all the time. Also the Am Dram does not go down well with me. Falling on the floor with good scores.

Loved the dance with Emma and Anton. So dreamy. I don't know if there were any swivel steps with Catherine's Charleston. Seemed more like a Lindy Hop to me. But yet again, what do I know? ;-)

No idea who will go tonight, as I think some years it is a popularity contest rather than the dancing.

I do sound grumpy, don't I? :-D :-D ;-)
