Eastenders versus Corrie in the dance off.

Katie looks so different with her hair dark, I had to think hard to recognise her at first.

Will someone do James Bond? If so, who?

Yes, the right couple in the dance off, I didn't really much like either of their dances, they both tried hard but quite hard to judge as two very different dances. I thought Katy was too stiff and tense and Nina somehow just didn't get her body right. The dance just didn't seem to suit her. I don't think Katy will last much longer unless she makes a big improvement. I too had trouble recognising her with dark hair.

Think Greg gave a hint that he will be 007 next week :-D

Well all I can say is Wow!!. Best week of Strictly for a long time. Everyone upped their game . There are a couple I am not so keen on but the majority were excellent.
Stand outs for me were Rose and Giovanni also AJ and Kai but the best for me John and Johannes definitely worthy of a 10 score.

Think Katie may be in the dance off again.

Edit oh I meant to say what a good show it was tonight, difficult to believe it is only week 3

I only saw half of Rose and Giovannis dance because I couldn't see the rest due to too many tears. I thought it was fantastic.

Like the other I thought AJ and Kai were brilliant and also John and Johannes.

It's incredible it's only week 3.

Shirley was in a very good mood tonight-for a change!!

I absolutely loved Rose's dance <3 I know she explained how she follows the movement of Giovanni's body when dancing ballroom which I suppose is how ballroom should be danced.....even so such an inspiration <3

Those that you expected to do well ie John, AJ & Rhys didn't disappoint although I have to say Rhys' dance really didn't do much for me :-0

I did like Sara's Salsa which must have been made more difficult in those costumes :-0

Out of the two jives ie Tom & Tilly, I much preferred Tom's :-D

I didn't think Dan did very well and he really didn't look like he was enjoying himself :-(

There were a lot near the bottom this week with not much to choose between them.....it will be sad for anyone to go as they have all shown some improvement but that's Strictly :-(

Ah yes Belle thanks, I forgot Tom, yes his jive was definitely better than Tilly's. I think I liked hers because of her enjoyment at doing it with having to act. It does make a difference on movie week, with most of them you can tell the actors.

Rose, Rhys, Tom, John and AJ all brilliant. I loved Rose, her dance could have been in a film sequence from the 50's, so beautiful and graceful.

Dan didnt do well at all, he could be in the dance off with maybe Katie or Tilly.

The standard is really high this year, so there is no room for mistakes.

Anton always measured in his comments, but Motsi does get excited.

I noticed Motsi was still wiping tears in the background after Rose's dance when Tess was introducing the next couple :-0

Anton has grown on me as a Judge. I thought last year when he was a temporary judge he would say nice things and give good marks even when the dancers were rubbish but this year his comments are constructive and his marking balanced :-D

I am just watching the individual dances and judges’ comments. Sarah (no idea who she is) performed a cracking foxtrot and she pretty much pirouetted on the spot which was great to see.

I like Anton as a judge, Belle, for the way he manages to comment and criticise constructively, as you wrote.

Just watched Tilly Ramsey doing the Charleston which I thought into which she put in a lot of energy which was great - now I’ll check ….. cos I am bamboozled. :-S

I must look up the celebrity dancers as I have only heard of four of them, I think.
