Hello everyone, never got to put pooter on yesterday after early morning, so surprised at how many have added. There are a lot of troubled people out there, as well as being an invisible illness it's also a scary one, I thought I was losing my mind at one point. I got frightened of people, wouldn't go out unless forced, and lost interest in my grandchildren, which to anyone who has grandchildren will know that's nearly impossible. Thanks to my husband who noticed I never smiled, never played practical jokes on him (childish but I can't resist), lost interest in my family tree which usually I worked on every day. He knew there was something terribly wrong and took steps to help me. I had no idea, I thought I was just fed up with all my illnesses piling up one on top of another. So please, anyone who feels down or if other people tell you to see a doctor, please go. I have a long way to go yet but my black cloud is getting lighter.
I wish I could wave a magic wand for you all, unfortunately I can't.

morning Caz. I too thought I was loosing my mind a few years ago. We had cable being laid everywhere and the vans were left over night on some empty land near us. So the vans were always everywhere bright orange everywhere! I was convinced it was really aliens starting to take over. Why in Lincoln near me didn't come into it! I knew not to tell anyone or I thought I'd be dragged away. But I knew what the orange vans were up to ( aliens) I don't mind telling people now but would never had said anything at the time xxx

Hi Carole, Caz and Jules!! As you say, hopefully a good start to the week for all and to those of you who have PROMISED to go and see your GP, good on you and make sure you go or we'll be haunting you - not a threat, a promise. just a quick word to those who dont quite manage it this morning tomorrow is another day you have not failed have not let anyone down and have already made the first step just by being here talking about it and no longer being alone.

Patricia have you thought about asking your doctor if he can give you anything to just help you through the panic attacks. It won't be anything like what we are taking but might calm you down a bit, or the rescue remedy people have mentioned.
We have no failures on here, proved by joining in on thread, some just take longer than others, but we will all get there in the end because we are all there for each other now. It feels so good.

Not sure Patricia but I would have thought Holland and Barret, somewhere like that. I take Kali.Phos. by New Era, it's a biochemic tissue salts for soothing nerves and nervous exhaustion, stress etc..due to worry or excitement, copied that off the tub.
Glad the site has helped you.

hi everyone new to this site ann of gg put me on to it after reading this site I would like to say with the increase of depession we are the normal and did you know that normal change's every 60 km so what's normal in one town isn't normal in another. we have a website in australia called beyondblue that may help. evening primrose can help with mild cases but remember nat/remm's can react with your script/med's I check everthing with my cemist first they can have a better idea then the doc's (and dont charge for the info). For you gardeners who cant bend anymore there is hope you can have what they call a no dig garden were you use something like an old wire based bed (to give you hight) newspaper, hay and compost my sister has a book on it if anyone intrested. well its time for me to go count sheep iam tired now but like some of u know u walk around half dead all day but when you want to sleep u cant then in the morning when you got to get your butt out of bed well mmmm best wishes to all

Morning all, ooops, afternoon, have only been up for an hour and taking advantage of o.h.'s being still at work and then doing an errand, to pop in here.

I keep plugging the Passiflora drops which like Rescue Remedy can be bought at health food places and RR can be bought lots more places too I think, wish someone would try them and see if they help as much as they helped me with the anxiety.

Enjoy the rest of the day girls and boys - do we have many male sufferers here?
Remember
TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY OF THE REST OF YOUR LIFE - start living!

I am in for fun and games today I think, as the tv went kaput last night so will either have o.h. trying to fix it or have to sit upstairs watching weeny one in bedroom. I suppose he could bring that down but then he wouldn't be able to watch in bed so he might not agree to that :>((
