You really seem not to be paying attention at all.

I'm going to repeat what I am talking about.

there is a marriage for the name that matches your brother's father in 1970 in Hackney

4 years before the birth of your brother in Hackney

and that couple had only one child, 2 years after the marriage ... so maybe they were already separated in 1974 ... the bride remarried a few years later

I would get that marriage certificate ... if it says the groom is a chef you would know you had the right man

this is where to order certificates

http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/

and I sent you the details of the marriage by private message long ago, for ordering that certificate

It's so simple.

you get that marriage certificate for a marriage in 1970 in Hackney for a man with the same name as your brother's father

you see what it says.

Getting a letter saying 'it's not who I'm looking for' does not tell much info, how does that person know it is not who you are looking for, is that person being honest, etc?

why on earth would you not get that marriage certificate to see whether it tells you anything helpful?

It is the Same man that married Caroline and I am in contact with her now
He was born in Scotland and have his full date of birth
He has a brother called George,
So safe to say my brother has a sister
So yes I do pay attention and I traced her to her address and ask her
X

Aaaaa!

I don't understand why you said it was not the right person :-(

so my suggestion was correct all along ...

but your brother will be able to be in contact with his sister this way?

that is good news ... but I guess they don't know how to contact dad Christopher?

Lisa would you please remove the full date of birth from your post, it is against the rules

that he was born 1942 is all that is needed

This one is for Christopher born in Edinburgh 1942
And as I've said I called many people with this name and wasn't the right one
Managed to find another number for the woman and called her up with chatting and how things where the same in the currant situations,
So I'm sorry for posting about two different ones with the same names but different places of births

I have completely abandoned any attempt to understand what you are talking about at this point, I am afraid.

You have people in the other thread tracing the ancestry of a person who you have no basis for believing is the person you are looking for?

either the person who married in Hackney is the right one, or he isn't

if you have good reason to believe he isnt, what earthly basis have you got for picking one born years earlier than you first said, apparently at random?
