There was an Andrew Murdoch of about the right age in Warwickshire - but in 2008.
There are lots of entries for men named Anthony Murdoch in various places - but impossible to tell if any of them could be the man you seek. None of them in Warwickshire.

oh thank you for looking - you've got the same answers as me, I was hoping I may have missed something. Lisa thinks Andrew married a Mandy - Amanda? Nothing more than that I'm afraid, His older (deceased) brother was Alan who married Susan and had daughters Pearl and Penny who would both be in their early 40s now.

Can't see any likely marriage of an Alan Murdoch to a Susan, nor births of the daughters you mention - at least in England and Wales.
Nor a marriage in Scotland.

It seems this is a bit of a complicated one, The only Pearl I found was born in the 1800's but I said I would do my best for her as both her birth parents have died so she has no one to ask for information . Unless Lisa knows Alan's wife's maiden name, for instance, or any other details, we are not going to be able to find out where any of the brothers are living now.

If any of them emigrated (and I'm beginning to think that may have been the case with Alan, as there's no sign of his daughters' births, at least not with those first names - perhaps they were middle names ??), then we're even less likely to find them, as records may be too recent to be online.

sorry late in replying. All the brothers lived in Coventry, I couldnt find girls names either, but as I've been looking on other sites I found 2 people looking to contact the same Andrew Murdoch, one of whom is asking from Australia, unfortunately I am not a member so therefore can't make contact, I might have to leave this for now as I have to go out so thank you once again. Oh and only Lisa (Marilyn) was adopted and the other family members were all in the Coventry area,, Thanks again.

She's Leigh on ERs from 2002 onwards.

According to the newspaper article, LEIGH ( not LIsa) got in touch with ANTHONY and was told that ALLAN (Alan J) had died, and that Anthony is not in contact with ANDREW

thank you for the the information above and yes it is definitely Leigh ( I didnt realise I typed Lisa) that is looking for her brothers as she was adopted and hasn't met them, I wasn't told about the newspaper article so I can only apologise as I now feel Ive wasted everyone time on helping me look . The only other information she gave me was that Allan may have had children Pearl and Penny and then may have had Jennifer Holly and James Murdoch with another partner but I know you came up with the same result as I did for a Pearl or Penny and Im not looking further until I've contacted her - as you say without a bit more information on names it does get difficult when searching. Once again I can only apologise for not knowing about the article - I offered my help in searching but it seems she has most of the information and we can not add anymore to it.. Where would I find the newspaper article please ErikaH?
