Jax & K

So sorry...had to go and pick hubby up from work and feed him. Both time consuming enterprises. Never thought to check for a tree on here.....senior moment going on.

Will pass all this on to my friend and let him decide what he wants to do next.

Once again many thanks for your time & effort

Sue

There seems to be 4 children born to Rex and 1st wife and 2 children to Brenda.

jax

3 of Rex's children are on the Electrol Roll living in the same area of Essex

so should be easy to find if your friend wanted to enquire about the family

They may have married abroad perhaps ....or not at all but with the other child also living in the same area I would certainly say it is the right person

Jax,

You are a star. So both born in Camberwell. Now if we could just find a marriage record to tie it all together that would be great.

Many thanks for all this info

It looks like Rex ended up in the Brentwood area...he may still be living??

can only see him on 192.co up until 2002 so he may have died in the last 5 years

Possibly not unless she had an affair with Eric Whan Mason and that is why the baby was adopted ???

It's a thought !!!!

The record re Phyllis Joan came from Ancestry, but I must admit I can't find a birth to match that death record .
So this Phyliis is only a Kingham by marriage .

Will have a lok around a bit longer for you.

Sue,have had a quick look at birth records and there is nothing for a Phyllis Joan in 1920 under the surname Kingham or Calkin.

Thanks K....wonder what happened to him.

redhotmama Report 25 Apr 2011 14:08

Sadly no. Her son has been researching the family tree and found out that his mum was adopted almost from birth and these details are all that he has been able to find.

Thanks Sue that does look promising...at least it's more than I had 30 mins ago.
