dominic martin was married to catherine sweeney both appear to be born in 1883 and then he decided to run of with her sister i think called mary and move to canada or america catherine then remarried james dobson i also think that she did not get divorceed, i am trying so hard to solve the martin side for my father who is ill, we are so desperate, can any kind people pls help me, i no he came from italy then lived in dewsbury and wakefield before emmigrating many many thanks donna

what a man this was, when i read he describedhimself as being irish and a labourer i thought it was a long shot, but to say that he was going to his cousin named as the same person his sister in law was is quite uncanny i think that u may have found me quite a good lead here, i could not believe it when he ran of with his sister in law, make no wonder nobody wanted to talk about it in our family, at the time it would have been quite difficuilt i supposse,

hi there, many thanks for all help yesterday, i have since discovered that dominick martin the man in question had relatives that came over to ilkley quite a while ago and we are trying to find out roughly when, they did have the surname martin wondering if it was his children/grandchildren, also can any body help me in how do i find out about him, going to canada in 1927 thats the information that someone kindly got me yesterday to meet his couison miss mary sweeney but she really was his sister in law basically to find out how many children that he had, all help is so gratefully recieved thank you all for your continued help and support
