James Middleton 1835
Jane Middleton wife.
Martha Redfern 17 daughter
Ellen Redfern says on original view daughter of above age 4 months.

So on reading that does it mean Martha is Ellens mum!!
That would fit in with the certificate which says Ellen's mum Martha Redfern with Jane Redfern present.

Martha Redfern 1865 married Bernard Walker in 1883.

1891 as Walker but
1901 as Redfearn at 10ct 2 House Hoyle Street D9 > 34.
with 9 children.

I think this is deffinately the family you are looking for,and the mum of Ellen is indeed Martha born 1865.
