i have him married to a jane but im told thats his 2nd wife

I DONE FEW LUTZES DID HAVE HYMAN BUT I NEVER ASKED WHEN HE CAME TO ENGLAND I CANT ASK HIS GREAT GRANDAUGHTER AS SHES IN SPAIN

Erm it IS best to stick to one thread Eveie it just saves time for you as well as searchers
, but just to let you know I did look for immigration at the same time as I looked for the census details I posted, ( most searchers look for all possibilities lol) and could not see him .

i think peeps have had a go at eveie for nothing, im sure she would of already tried to look up herself and is struggling otherwise she wouldnt come to the boards asking for help, isnt this what the boards are for ? after all this is the "Records office " section , unless of course we are only here to check on the weather updates, not being funny guys and girls why cant we just help a little !

Eveie is not new to the boards and all that was asked from the start by me...is "is this anything to do with him, from yesterday"
All Eveie needed to do is say " Oh sorry I will add it to that thread then"
So Gavin yes people have been trying to help her because all the info is on the other thread rather than have it duplicated again on this one
As for Records Office...If you read the notes in the Help clinic above this is what it is for...
Records office – are you having problems finding your family in a census? Come and see if anyone is offering look-ups at their local archives in an area that interests you.

Gavin, before suggesting that Eveie is not getting help do look at the other thread. I was one of those helping on it so I know that what was there to be found ( ie on Ancestry) WAS found.
Birth certs for children born here will give mother's maiden name and clear up whether there was a 'sarah' before Jane...or whether it is actually the same person.

A copy of Abraham's birth certificate will provide the answer you seek:

As has been stated it will give you the mothers maiden name. You need really to order this...
The Records you want for Hyman coming to England, would be the following...England, Alien Arrivals, 1810-1811, 1826-1869 on Ancestry, but they are not complete.
