Sylvs seems to swap and change her quilt at random Dea....... :-D

I keep the same one on all year. When it's cold, I put the leccy blanket on. When it's hot, I throw the quilt off........simples.... ;-)

Well, OH has been upstairs and tried to sort out the bed - lets hope he's got it right!!! m.e.n. :-(

SylviaInCanada Report 27 Jul 2012 04:47

Dea

we had indeed put the winter quilt back on last weekend.

OH took it off before going to bed on Wednesday night, and replaced it with a thin blanket ............. plus of course the top sheet.

Tonight???

I think it will be sheet only!!!

well, the family has left

Bit of a hassle at the airport

their plane to Edmonton was 20 minutes late. They only had a 30 minute turn around in Edmonton before getting on the Halifax plane.

Agent didn't think they would make it .................... so she re-booked them on an earlier plane that went to Calgary, and then onto a Calgary -> Halifax flight.

This meant that they left Vancouver an hour earlier than originally planned, or less than 40 minutes after getting checked-in.

Good job that we had got there with 2 hours to spare!!!

Then the Halifax plane will get in about 45 minutes earlier than the original time, at about 6:15 am Friday morning ................... so OH had to phone M's mother in NS to give her the new time. She would then phone her husband to give him the new time that he had to be at the Halifax airport!!

The parents live about an hour outside Halifax, but father was staying in J&M's house in Halifax to finish building a playhouse for MJ

We left J etc to go through security a little sooner than we had hoped

................ and went to our local bistro-style restaurant for a celebratory dinner!

Am bored with the Olympics already :-\

I get fed up with all the inane chatter of commentators as they struggle to find something to talk about. Sometimes, just sometimes, silence is golden!

I'd like to just watch the barge making it's way down the Thames and listen to splash of the oars against the water but all you get is someone yattering on about anything and everything to do with the Thames.....sigh.

ps. Thanks for breakfast Sylvs....managed a coffee.......~~

Gee

Gee Report 27 Jul 2012 11:43
