Anyone know the names of the 2 sites where you can look up recent death notices please?

Cynthia Report 13 May 2013 14:01

I think one is iannouce.co.uk Dea. If you google obituaries and the name of the town you are searching in, then it should pop up already for you.

OH has been well and truly 'mauled' this morning..... :-D :-D The neuro physios are absolutely brilliant. One is a trainee so she has to be very 'hands on' literally. They are teaching him how to flex his shoulder muscles in order to keep them flexible. I was watching closely so that I can tell if he is doing it right or not.

The body is such a wonderful mechanism..... back posture is important in order to maintain flexibility in the neck muscles. Good stuff. :-)

Now I must tackle Mount Everest of the ironing variety.......~~~~~

Dea Report 13 May 2013 14:26

Thank you Cynthia - I have just finished my 'mountain' so I will go and look now before I collect the grandchildren.

Sounds like your OH is getting his 'money's worth' from those Physio's ;-) :-D

Jonesey Report 13 May 2013 16:17

When I walked into the kitchen this morning my wife was making our breakfast of soft boiled eggs and toast.

The moment I came in my wife rushed over to me and said, "you've got to make love to me, right this moment."

Keen not to disappoint I obliged and gave it my all.

Afterwards my wife said, "Thanks" and went straight back to the stove.

Happy but a little puzzled I enquired, "What was all that about?"

She explained, "The egg timers broke." :-D

Good morning all............... :-D :-D

Thank you for the coffee.......I'll make some porridge for those who need 'building up'!

Dea, in my eyes, the NHS have done a great job as far as physios are concerned. Nothing is too much trouble and we always end up laughing. Tell you what though - I put OH through his exercises last night (NOT the type as mentioned by our dear Jonesey ;-) ) and he slept very well. Good result all round I think! :-D

Going for a browse and make a list of things to remember to do........ :-S

Dea

Dea Report 14 May 2013 10:35

Glad the exercises are helping Cynths.

Yes, I agree - many parts of our NHS are absolutely brilliant but they are usually let down somewhere along the line by the very poor administration and organisation :-(

Ooer I spent ages last night trying out various "free" sights to make ivitations for OH's birthday bash.

You had to agree to join all of them after the free period ended - so then had to cancel DD :-(

Then spent hours looking at catalogues/on-line for something to wear to said bash.

GD's christening is this weekend so off to look for something to wear and a gift.

Why is it that you know the date it's happening and it's ages away then suddenly it's crept up on you. :-0

Gee

Gee Report 14 May 2013 17:30

Linds

Cant you just make your own on Photoshop or something?

Linda

Linda Report 14 May 2013 17:49

Gins every one I looked at you had to "join" then cancel your DD. will have another look tonight.

Successful shopping trip got something to wear and a christening gift and lunch in less than 3 hours :-D

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 14 May 2013 21:00

Linds, why not just design your own and print them off?

What a busy afternoon I've had....... :-S

Picked up both grandchildren and, after some cajoling by them, nipped off to the local KFC for something to eat. They were starving apparently :-D

Back home and cooked for self, OH and son and then cleared away. It's been all go..........

Wouldn't change them for the world though...... :-D :-D

I'm looking forward to tomorrow.....I'm going for a facial - a Mother's Day present from son and family. Hope it includes a head massage :-D :-D

Have also been busy spreading the word about the new campaign the NAS have launched - it's about support for adults with autism and called Push for Action.
Anyone can add their support to encourage the government to take more care of these folk. :-)
