Yes St Joseph's at Peasley Cross. My Dad and siblings were baptised there and I was going to try and get copies of their entries. With St Joe's no longer in existance I thought I ask the Archdiocese where I can view them, may be take a pic for future generation etc... :-D :-D

Why is all Henry V111 on tv at the moment? I love it, but why is it on now?

Just had a phone call from my oldest friend who lives in Texas......she has been to a reunion in Bristol and flies back tomorrow. It was lovely to chat again. :-)

Sunday Breakfast:

Bircher Muesli with rhubarb and sweet dukkah.

Apple and cranberry toasted muesli

Fig bircher muesli

Corn fritters with avocado salsa (and bacon optional) ... Corn and coriander fritters

Choy sum omelettes

Seared scallops with bacon dust and avocado on toast.

Egg and bacon filo pies

French Toast

Coconut pancakes with banana and chocolate sauce

Bacon, egg and feta tarts

Potato rosti with smoked salmon, an egg and hollandaise. Or instead of salmon there is bacon or spinach.

One pan Brekky...... this is 4 chipolata sausages, 4 rindless bacon rashers, 2 eggs, mushrooms, halved and fried tomato with toast and sauce.

The big pan Brekky --- 4 sausages, 4 bacon rashers, two lamb cutlets, 2 eggs, hash browns, tomatoes, mushrooms and if you like kidneys as well.

Breakfast wraps... assorted

Berry scrolls.

Banana and Raspberry toast.

Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and smokes.

In the Hamper by the utility room Cyns is a hamper of assorted muffins, drop scones, club sandwiches, fudge brownies, neenish tarts, pistachio & apricot squares and a buffalo cake for your church luncheon.

Fans took the tea trolley with all the afternoon tea goodies yesterday.... she said she needed to fill her cupboards..

I must admit, I didn't expect to see Linds on here this morning but she can't still be snoozing !!? :-S

There are savouries in the warmer: sausage rolls, bacon and egg tarts, mushroom quiches and vege bakes....

In the "keep it cool" cabinet are salmon and cream cheese sarnies, bacon and avocado sarnies and egg, asparagus and tomato sandwiches.

Muffins under the mesh cover, Coffee and Walnut, Boysenberry and cream, Lemon honey.

Sweets under the other cover, russian squares, lamingtons, fig newtons, cup cakes, orange friands, chocolate marshmallow slice... and a passionfruit cheesecake.

Coffee and Tea in the correct Urns.

Now going to check e-bay to see if we can get another trolley.. last seen heading up the motorway being towed by a mobility scooter..

OOOhhhh - thank you Persie - I am 'up for' all the sweetie things !!

I was thinking about that trolley :-( Perhaps we could get our Jonesey to 'knock up' a replacement for us ??

I have two front wheels from a little car that grandson has 'demolished' and a quite nice shiny silver tray !

Perhaps someone else has a couple of wheels and something that might match ???

We could take the handlebars of the little bike which is too small from them now and there is even a little bell thingy which was on there which we could use - I doubt if Sylvia had a bell on 'her' trolley so I am sure she will be VERY pleased if we could put it all together before she gets back. ;-) :-D :-D

Have been watching the Coronation as it happened so to speak - what a long day it was to be sure but I enjoyed what I saw.


We used to have a tea trolley when I was at home - they were quite the thing at one time I remember.


I bet the trolley you're looking for is now being used as a skate board Perse and not by FBG either!!!

Well, J was on form today!

Just got back after arriving at 12.20pm. She had visitors this morning, but her daughter is ill, so we didn't know who and when others would be arriving and didn't want to leave her alone all afternoon

A crowd arrived at 4.50, so we had a chat and then left them to it. I left, threatening to pull her tubes out if she didn't behave ;-)

She took the 'mick' out of me all day, and me her.........it had her laughing to crying point!
