I do the sudoku.. that's in our paper every day .. he does the medium and I do the hard.

There is a thread on here somewhere about couples talking with each other and it must have come up that you see couples who don't talk in restaurants.

We talk so much at home so when we know we are going for coffee we take our sudokus or crosswords to do.. and sometimes we take our books to read. It doesn't happen all the time but it does happen a lot. Some cafes have magazines so I am all for reading an article in one of them that I would not see otherwise.

Short term memory not good Gins you asked me that last time I put those on the menu... they are meat free...

They are crusty bread with vegemite or marmite (aarggh) and cheese all done under the grill.. some people do the same with sardines and onions and cheese..

When I worked in the hospital the staff caff used to do the crusts from the bread once a week with these for our morning tea.

Thinking of you today Dea...... <3

I've never tried Candycrush, even though I have been invited to do so.......but it just doesn't interest me.......I prefer word games or, for relaxation, I may spend a few minutes playing the balloon popping game from Joy.

Looks like a good day to finish my ironing, clean the bedrooms, go for a walk and nip to the shops......... :-D

Back later ~~~~~~~

She had a new funky electric chair delivered today, it wouldnt look out of place in a sitting room. I was the first person to test drive it, lovely and comfy

BTW, I left my glasses at work, so my typing may well be all over the place

Hi all - I am back !

Glad to see that J is doing well Ginns. <3

Well, I was accepted for the treatment - Prof M***t is a lovely man and extremely caring !

He explained everything so I knew exactly what was being done and why and I had the first treatment done this afternoon.

Have to have one more treatment and then just follow-ups for the next 2 years both at Clatterbridge and at my local hospital, then if all goes well I think the follow ups can then be done mostly at my local hospital for at least the following 5 years.

Of cours, if all does not go well, then the radical op will have to be carried out.

Success rate with this treatment is pretty good though so - fingers crossed.

Gosh I am tired !!!

See you all later,

Dea Xxx

P.S. - The one frustrating thing was that they had sent me the wrong dietary sheet with my appointment letter and although I was still to use special low fibre diet for 3 days prior to the procedure, I did not need to have liquids only starting on the day before !!!

SO, I could have had Persie's lovely breakfasts after all ! - Is there anything left ???

He was devastated that this had happened and insisted that I go and have something to eat before I had my treatment.... and even checked up on me when he arrived back to do it :-)

Lovely man................ :-D
