Sooooo true Gins. Ain't it bin quiet this last week?

Vacation Espana..Day one.....

Leave house at 5 am Friday in snow /ice and biting wind(ugh)
Get to airport at 730 am ,check in and then get HOT chocolate to warm the cockles that were frozen
Board plane at 10 10 am and then delay because all water pipes are frozen on the ruddy thing.We are sat at front(extra legroom)by one VERY LARGE open door...Brrrrr.Takeoff 20 mins late and Fans freaks out on takeoff,she HATES flying..Stewardess gets pills from Fans bag in overhead locker that she thought she could do without (not risking that again !)and slowly she calms her racing pulse,wildly beating heart and stomach churning massive butterflies and wipes sweat from streaming brow.
Land on time (Pilot put the pedal to the metal to make up lost time it seems)and guess whose luggage is last off plane?
Get into arrivals area and there are about 4 people left waiting for passengers and one woman holding a card up saying

F.B.G.>>>RENES..

With man lurking in the background behind her ....

Hugs and kisses to both of em from me and hugs and kisses to Renes from HID,but manly handshake given between PP and HID.

Walk ruddy miles lugging luggage(well ok,PP and HID lugged it)to their 4x4 talking 19 to the dozen like we had known each other all our lives.
PP and Renes are warm ,welcoming,kind and really easy going.....bit of luck as they had to get on with us ..!
Get in 4x4 with men in front and women in back.
Tore most of you lot on here apart, and then put you all back together again(as you do)on the 2 hour journey to their village.
Gets there and they settle us in to "our"4 bed,2 bathroom house with 3 sun terraces and then Renes heated up pre made dinner (YUMMEEE)and we sat and gossiped till about 730pm when they went back to their house.

Forgot to say that the "Welcome tray"was wonderful,the fridge stocked with every necessary ,including a bottle of red and a bottle of white wine ,plus some largers(The cheap kind you get out there of course,no expense spared for us !)
New Jim Jams each and a hot water bottle each...It can be a bit cold at night where they live.....

Talking of Renes..Anyone seen her??Getting paranoid now as she is conspicuous by her absence.....
WIFI down I guess as it was forecast bad weather for when we left..

Fans.......she'll be taking a well earned rest. Give 'er a break!!

Evening All

Well I am here - had a lovey dovey day with OH

We did housework this morning- showered - put on our Jim jams - had early dinner - lit the wood stove and snuggled up on the sofa and ate oor Welsh choccies - ( pressies from you know who )

We did use superglue to put you all back together again LK,and then we painted over any small cracks that still showed..;)

Crikey Renes,hope you didnt eat the whole 10kg tub in one go,fat as bacon pigs you two will be.

Just coz you eat like a little fairy -

Morning all........what no breakfast!

I really must start to do some Christmas shopping, we have nt bought a single thing yet....except booze!

Might go into town this morning and make a start then put the tree up later

Right anyone whos hungry;


Wholemeal toasted muffins, thick cut white toast, croissants and crumpets

Jams, marmite and peanut butter

Eggs...every way, beans, grilled toms, fried mushys, hash browns and bubble & squeak


Tea, coffee by the bucket
