The John Thomas 1902 Wolverhampton,on 1911 census with dad Thomas 1866 a Labourer Wolverhampton Staffs.

Did Florence M Perrett marry Francis K Butler J/A/S 1939 like your mam and dad.

Hello Dea...Yes, I did copy that info; about the Wolvwrhampton connection,and Mary...Florrie did marry Frank Butler, and they had a son named Tony.

OK ladies...I'm back,and require your experience again!

My father John Thomas's marriage cert; confirms that his fathers name was in fact Michael Jordan of Manchester, and was a Vetenary Doctor!..Perhaps he was "embarrassed" with ending up in the workhouse,and his father's accupation was a little "Fib"!..and was in fact the guy below!!!

On checking the 1901 census there was only one Michael Jordan,[age 37] in Manchester at that time, and he was a Labourer..Gas Works!...His wife was named Mary A..[age 32]..and a Daughter age 5..This wood tie up with John Thomas and Elizabeth mentioned earlier in a workhouse.

There was a Mary Ann Jordan @ 1869 died 1907 in Chorlton lancs.

1901 Michael and Mary Ann had Catherine born 1896 in Birmingham,I think this is her
1911 Inmate Catherine Jordan 1895 Mirmingham a Laundress.

There is a tree on here with Michael Jordan ireland 1864 and Catherine 1896 Birmingham,the owner is called sheila maybe you should contact her.

There is also a tree on Ancestry with Catherine b1896 and Michael b 1864 in it. No historical records attached however. Tree owner sycooke.

Hi Jonesey,it is the same owner as on here she is related to Mary Ann Heeley's sister.

No futher info she has would help.
