Andrew,

Are you still available to check Notts Parish Records ?. I'm interested in East Retford Baptism's that took place in the name of Wilson between 1907 and 1911 the daughters or sons of Walter and Jane Wilson, Walter being and Engineer.

Any help would be appreciated particulary as Wilson is such a difficult name to deal with.

Hi Andrew/Sharon, Thanks for your kind offer and the help you have givrn people. I was wondering if you could find any info on Clarissa White b.1850/51 St Nicholas. She had a brother Samuel Edward born 1849, her mother was Mary White b.c1827, I have found them on the 1851 census but there is no Father listed.

Any info would help. Thanks

Dear Andrew/ Sharon

Just saw your extremely kind offer and wondered if you could have a look for any GOATERs for me.

I am particularly interested in Alfred born c. 1819 in Ashby De La Zouch who I think married in Nottingham and his family.

Many thanks (and fingers crossed!!)

Hi Andrew,
I don`t know if you can help me. I am looking for any info on a Reginald Walters. His history is very sketchy.
My wife wants to trace him as he is her father.
He was `possibly` born in Notts. We have a pic of him in his WW2 uniform taken in Mansfield. He was in the Notts Foresters in the early part of WW2 and moved to East Staffs Regiment. He enlisted underage in the army, so perhaps at 16. Makes his birth about 1923. Any info however vague would be of immense help. There is talk he was on the front page of The Daily Mirror in 1953 wirh regard to a crime.
