I can't find the record. What is it you are looking for, please? (Immigration?) (I don't speak French, but I can sometimes muddle through the written language.) |

I see a few Tinnuchi's, but I believe you need Canadian Ancestry to view those records (no Maria, however). |

Yes. She is in the Quebec Vital and Church Records (Drouin Collection), 1621-1967 |

There are no Tinnuchis in Quebec in the 1881, 1901 or 1911 censuses. |

These are the records you're talking about. There is also one for her birth. It's not the name you have though. |

Sorry, Alan, can't find any Tennuci/Tinnuchi on any of the Canadian censuses. I'm trying to imagine how the name would be mis-spelled. We see a lot of mis-spellings of French names here when they are spelled by an English person. For instance French speaking people pronounce TH as T. |

Hug accepted with thanks Alan! I've found the record but my French is very rusty. Parents were Barthelemi Tinnuchi, journalier, and Ann Durcton ? I think. Pretty hard to make out some of the writing. There is also an Ann O'Sullivan mentioned. |

This is a strange record. The names Tennuchi and of Jessie's husband are given to this wee lad but his parents are unknown and his grandmother was Mrs E J Lennay (nee Mary Denny ?) |

Jessie's death. Her parents were Bartholomew Tinnuchi and Christina Annie Junstan? |

MANY THANKS for all the kind help given. I was totally unaware of Barholomew as a son and previously I said that I knew of jessie and assigned wrong parantege to her. Infact the Jessie found here is another Jessie. From my main enquiery, 2 new people have been found. Thanks once again. |
