Sandra...Cant see the keyboard for laughing...my thoughts exactly about Barbara...!!!

Anyway have found a marriage for Elizabeth Thompson McLeod (daughter of Aulay and Eliz.Thompson...) Well I think its that couple.. but she could belong to anyone by now...!!!

Elisabeth T.McLeod to Robert Kibble 2 August 1837 (at least theres no Mcs) Kibble should be easy...says herself..!!!

Alvie,
I should've been an accountant to keep up with all these Aulays, more like wallies. I'm completely lost now, no hope for me, somebody take me to the vet and have me put down please.

Eringobragh1916 Report 2 Feb 2010 15:20

Alvigal...
Thanks for that now I know i wasnt seeing things..with Sandra you tend to lose the plot more often than not...see my last post for confirmation...!!!

Sandra

Sandra Report 2 Feb 2010 15:21

Erin, I've got 3 bloody Aulays, all to the one set of parents, dads name Aulay.

Sandra

Sandra Report 2 Feb 2010 15:23

I don't make you lose the plot, it's my weird flippin rellies, I was sensible till I started this family tree, now I don't even know who I am or where I live.

Eringobragh1916 Report 2 Feb 2010 15:24

Sandra...Please no more...!!! Should we look for Barbara instead and Mr.Bremner..

I think the whole thing has fallen into place very well all the way back to John and Susan..

Sandra

Sandra Report 2 Feb 2010 15:25

Right !! Is Aulay and Elizabeth def my Aulays parents?
Mind you, is Aulay and Ann def young Aulays parents?

Sandra

Sandra Report 2 Feb 2010 15:26

Who the hell is John and Susan?

alviegal

alviegal Report 2 Feb 2010 15:27

Sandra is this your mum's or your dad's line? I really hope their names are 'normal.' Still it wouldn't be as much fun to search if they were.

Sandra

Sandra Report 2 Feb 2010 15:29

Only jokin, it's my dad's side.
Their names are normal (my parents). Ferguson and Hall.
Dad from Greenock, mum from Port Glasgow.

Eringobragh1916 Report 2 Feb 2010 15:30

This is gone beyond the bounds of redemption...!!!!

Yes to both questions...

John McL and Sus McAulay had a son called Aulay...(wont go further cant see for laughing).
Aulay (son of John and Sus.) then married Eliz Thompson and had a son called Aulay.
Aulay(son of Aulay and Eliz.) then married Ann they had a son called Aulay
Aulay son of Aulay and Ann brings us up to date...ishhhh

Eringobragh1916

Eringobragh1916 Report 2 Feb 2010 15:32

What do you mean who are John and Susann....they are the generation that started all this Auley MaCaulay off...

Sandra

Sandra Report 2 Feb 2010 15:35

I've never laughed so much in my life. I better stop before my husband gets home though, I have a reputation as a miserable sod to maintain.

Sandra

Sandra Report 2 Feb 2010 15:38

Yes, let's look for Barbara and Mr.Bremner, hope his name's not Aulay.

Eringobragh1916

Eringobragh1916 Report 2 Feb 2010 15:43

Sandra...Couple of corrections...the Death of Aulay McLeod 1913...he was brother of Annie Bremner..so we dont need to chase up a 2nd marriage for Barbara..
Death of Aulay McLeod (Accountant) was at 6 Dalrymple Street 1870 he was aged 54 years. Will check exact date later.

Well at least the "Aulays" are decreasing in numbers...

Sandra

Sandra Report 2 Feb 2010 15:44

So they're not my dead Aulays then? Or did his sister Ann marry Bremner?

Sandra

Sandra Report 2 Feb 2010 15:50

On Inverclde BMDs there was a John Millar that commited suicide, if he was related to this lot then I can't say I blame him, poor fellow.
