Thanks so much for the information its very sad if it is her and there is no reason to doubt it. Perhaps the birth of Elizabeth Susan in1889 tip her over the edge. These days it's almost certain to be called Post Natal Depression.
I wonder if she ever came out or did she die in there while undergoing some wierd treatment, we shall never know.

How on earth did you find this? Interested to know as I would never have thought of this.

Thanks once again, another piece of the never ending puzzle solved.

All the information I have gained over the years about the family and branches I have on a disc, which I continue to update,and is kept in a family bible which will be handed down, I hope for as long as possible, so future family will have an insight about their ancestors.

After all the help on past relations I wonder if you can help now.
My wife's grandmother MARGARET ALFORD born we don't know were and the year of birth is also unknown. She always said she was born in Ireland. On claiming her pension the DWP couldn't find a birth for her and therefore paid her her pension, she never had a birth certificate. She married a William Parsons in 1929 in Reigate (Redhill) they had 4 children Donald (my wife's father), Shelia, Roger and Malcolm who died an infant. Margaret had a sister Alice (known as Ali).
Can anyone out there help with this.

Hi All

I'm following up my wifes family tree and have a Henry Alford born 1876 in London (Pancras), in the 1901 census He is living at 131 Kings Road St Pancras. He is married and has one child Ceilia Maud born 1900 in Wood Green. His wife's name is Julia and she was born in Germany in 1880. I can't find their marriage and they disappear in the 1911 census.

Can anyone help with 1) Henry and Julia's marriage 2) where they are in the 1911 census 3) Julia's birth in Germany.
