this is all way beyond my wildest dreams. you have achieved in 1/2 a day what we have been looking for in several years. I am in South Africa and have just come in from a Rotary meeting and even though by UK standards it is still early, I am tired and need to have time to absorb all of this. I will now print it out and sit in a comfortable arm chair and study it all. thank you so much for all your help. Allan.
ps I do not understand your comment in the last line. ???"destination"???

You're very welcome Allen, do come back when you've had a chance to digest.

Not sure I understand ???"destination"???

I did delete an immigration record for Maggie that I'd posted which was wrong- was it in that?

good morning to all you fantastic researchers. marieCeleste yoiu are correct in your updated arrivalm data in US. I have other stuff which agrees. I never had the naturalisation papers for Mary and the marriage to Travers was unknown to me. pity the daughter Mary Travers was not the singer!!.

i am now signing off from this investigation as it is as complete as I ever wanted. with the help of various community board devotees, eg, Kay, Carol, Ginny, and those in in this latest investigation I have documentary evidence of my wifes family as tenant farners in Co Leitrim back to 1798 and forward to US citizens in the 1930 US census and closer to me here in South Africa via our UK origins. you are all wonderful people and I hpe you continue to help others as you have done for me.

It's been a pleasure Allan!

But don't ever close an avenue off - you never know when something comes up that might be of interest. ;-)
