If it was my problem I would start with the uncle's birth certificate followed my his parents marriage cert and then their birth cert and so on... till you can prove the unbroken line. |

If as you say you have Daniel's birth cert, it would tell you his exact date of birth and his mother's maiden name. |

I had Daniel's siblings down as Mary (1863) , James (1867) and Ellen (1869). I never knew Daniel's mother's surname the person who helped me last time said it was unknown. |

No his DOB isn't present. I've got a birth certificate which is Jan-Feb-Mar 1873 and death Oct-Nov-Dec 1933. All I know is that he died being trampled by horses as he was a carter if that helps? |
