Find Ancestors

I have since found out that this Joseph Carr is definitely my gt grandfather, his father was also Joseph Carr and was b 1864 Brompton Kent, his father again was a Joseph Carr and was b 1842 Scotland. Joseph Carr b 1864 married a Mary J, don't know her surname can anyone help with any info on any of these people ? I have found on GR member who has 2 of these Joseph's on her tree but am having trouble making contact with her :-(

Look for marriage info on freebmd.....or buy the 1889 birth cert for the mother's name

I have deleted the old thread and I know he was born in Durham as i have those certificates now

I also have the census information which states county Durham

Don't delete it now........a lot of people put in time and effort to try to help you on it

If you have his birth cert, how is it that you don't know his mother's maiden name?

I have his marriage certificate and census not birth certificate

Look on freebmd for the parents' marriage............you know the registration district

Oh and I have looked for the Marriage problem is there are 3 women all with the same first name all married to a Joseph Carr
