Oh, thanks MC, don't you just love tracing over old threads and research. Why on earth don't posters just stick to one thread?

John, you have had loads of help in the past why duplicate research - do you think we just invent it?

Flip - there was hardly anything on that last thread about the Blackshaws, it was really all about the Blands and relatives in USA.

I only put on the link to stop anyone pursuing Emily and Noah.

Hi Flip and other researchers.
Firstly, my previous post which MarieCeleste brought to your attention was, as she says, regarding the BLAND branch of the family who moved to the USA (Thanks MC for looking out for me). In this post it's quite clear that I only asked about the BLACKSHAWS of Leeds.
Secondly, thanks again for your help and input but I have to correct Flip's last comment: This is actually only the second post I have ever placed on Genes R, so I am very new to this and have not actually 'had loads of help in the past' ... Do I think you just invent it? No I do not. What has actually upset you here Flip?
I actually don't know the rules of this game. Is help given freely and willingly or not? Are messages limited to one thread only? Perhaps I should have looked up how to use this before I tested it out.
Thanks to those who have helped me second time around but if some of you give it grudgingly and find it necessary to make that kind of comment then I'm out of here!

John,

I'm really sorry for my comments yesterday - there is no excuse - and I really hope I haven't put you off posting on the boards.

I'm not going to try to excuse my comments, but have spent a fair bit of time on other threads recently which have turned out to have already been investigated.

So, I'm sorry for my post which you didn't deserve.

Good luck with your research
Flip
