I have a Florence Edith Guinevere Jeffries b,1885 married to a John Postlethwaite Eccles in Dec 1908 ,( no certificate) Can anyone help me find his date of birth, his parents and whether he had any siblings.I have his children ,but I cant find anything else .Many thanks to all who can help.

Do you know when/where he died to ascertain his year of birth? What part of the world were they from?

The marriage certificate is going to be the most reliable way to trace him.

I know that Florence was married to John Eccles, she was my great-aunt, they had 3 boys:- Thomas, Robert and John ,but the rest of the family dosent know anything about their Eccles ancestors due to a rift in the family many years ago ,so I thought I would ask on her as you are all so fantastic at finding thing s out.. No sign of a marriage between James and Elizabeth

No, I can't find one either - and the only child registered on cumbriabmd is John, 1858 - giving mmn Hewartson, so maybe Elizabeth was not previously married when Isabella was born.

I can't see either of them in 1851............failing miserably with this one!

And no baptism for Isabella on familysearch..............all very frustrating
