Deceased online cover the Angus area very well. Have you looked for a burial for Donald. If Ann was buried in the same lair that would get you a date of burial.

Thanks for the replies...

Not sure if I should post this or not... but will.

another Davidson or 2 to be found...
Jane Davidson married Thomas Ross 1866 Inverkeillor Angus in 1866
They had a son Charles Alexander Ross b. 13 Jun 1879 Arbirlot Angus.
He was home in the 1891 census for Scotland. I cannot locate him after this
date. He also had a sister Whilhemina Davidson Ross b. 12 Apr 1869 Inverkeillor.
She is single in the 1911 census... Cannot locate her after his.... Deaths do not
seem to be in Scotland.. tried many combinations to try to find them on Scotlandspeople...

That'll be the right one, alviegal.

Death of her father Thomas Ross - ie - not the unsubstantiated death on 10/12/1917 in Carnoustie, given in a tree on Ancestry. There's no sign of that death on SP in any case.

1935 ROSS THOMAS M 92 BARRY /ANGUS 274/00 0011

ArgyllGran, don't be put off by not finding someone when searching by name on deceased online. When I searched for OH's 4x G Grandfather I found nothing. I searched for his daughter then paid to checked others buried in the lair and he was there. He was well known in Forfar in his day and even has a plaque of commemoration at the house where he lived. He is not named on the headstone and his wife is buried in another part of the cemetery but again not named on the headstone or listed when searching.

Thanks Alviegal, Agyllgran and rootgatherer.... 1 of the 4 has been found!

At this time, I assume that Wilhelmina and James Stewart had no children.

I also know the correct death date for her father.

Her brother, Charles has such a common name. It may be difficult to find him.

Thx

Thanks, Rootsgatherer!
I usually do leave the parameters pretty wide when searching for anything.

Isn't it a great feeling when a bit of lateral thinking lets you find something not immediately obvious!

Blaine_
Unfortunately, it's impossible to tell from the births listed on SP if Wilhelmina and James had any or not, as you can't search with mms after 1854, and Stewart is such a common name.
