Maybe Sarah Wright was Joseph's sister ?

Yes. That's what I was thinking but the problem is that Your Joseph married before civil registration began in 1837 so we don't know who his father was and the chances are that the same would apply to any possible siblings. Without finding any baptismal records we can't even be sure he had any siblings.

I really have to go and get ready as I am due to go out shortly but will look back later tonight or tomorrow. Perhaps Maddie will find some more to go by then.

Simon, I'm not sure that helps! Those must surely be the siblings of the Joseph that we can't prove is the father of your Joseph who married Matilda.
