Albert Pumfrett Married Joan Gambles- had the children thinggy, wotsit and David albert Pumfrett BORN 1914 His mothers maiden name listed as PARKS. There is MARRIAGE for a ALFRED JOHN PUMFRETT & ROSE AMELIA PARKS, also in west ham.in 1906 In 1901 census there is an ALFRED PUMFRETT In WEST HAM with his mother called MARIA PUMFRETT, a widow **I think , but it only a guess , this is the one that married Rose In 1891 census he is in WEST HAM again, with a MOTHER MARIA and a father JAMES ( all down as Pom not PUMfrett)

Ann, Ok lol, heres what you put that i understand, Albert Pumfrett Married Joan Gambles- had the children thinggy, wotsit and David, Yes have all the birth details for them, will look into finding if they married etc aswell sometime. albert Pumfrett BORN 1914 His mothers maiden name listed as PARKS. Yes understand all that. There is MARRIAGE for a ALFRED JOHN PUMFRETT & ROSE AMELIA PARKS, also in west ham.in 1906 These are alberts parents. In 1901 census there is an ALFRED PUMFRETT In WEST HAM with his mother called MARIA PUMFRETT, a widow **I think , but it only a guess , this is the one that married rose Ok so this is Alberts dad still with his mum with no dad as passed away. In 1891 census he is in WEST HAM again, with a MOTHER MARIA and a father JAMES ( all down as Pom not PUMfrett) I see now lol, oh dear i am slow, its the censuses i get confused about i think lol, so in 1891 alberts dad was at home with his mum maria and dad james and sometime between then and 1901 the dad died. Phew im so glad i am clear now coz its been bugging me all day and y/day, sorry Ann to be such a pain. Will print this off aswell now and show my nan tuesday. Meanwhile i hope i can make sence of what else i find next lol. Joanne

Hi, As i now understand whats been posted im moving on to the next step of the Pumfrett family. I want to see if i can find Alberts children if they married and had children and so on. They are Jean born 1936 Gloria born 1938 and David born 1941 Also find Alberts siblings when born and when got married and had children too. They are Harry, dont know birth details Alfred, dont know either yet and Rose eveline who i have found info about, she was born 1909 and got married in 1933 to a Douglas Lionel Joseiah Cope, they had 4 children, who are, Eve ( my nan) born 1934/35 Tom, dont know details yet but he has passed away Lynn and Pat who i have no details for either and they was living in tottenham. Anyone willing to help me still i would be very greatful. Thankyou Joanne

Evelyn RV Cope MMn Pumfrett Having told you that - can you find the ref number?? Q4 1934. Pretty safe assumption she didnt have a child in the 9 months prior. - we can carry on doing it for you, but if you could do it, it would be so much more satisfying

Ann, Is that a trick question? That is my nans details isnt it and she was born in november but i cant find her anywhere, i searched years 1934 and 1935 for her and cant find her!!! So i see you are testing me to see if im looking for anything lol, which i can asure you i am. What does the 9 months mean? Joanne

Ann, I am looking on free bmd on ancestry and im putting the details in and its coming back as no matches, if i just put cope in, the same etc.. Test me on another please? Yes i no your helping me, its good to as im still learning, you can be my teacher. Jo

up come a box first name/last name qtr/year Put COPE in Last name box < doesnt have to be caps,( Thats just for emphasis) Put 1934 in the year box and use the thinggy to select the qtr ( oct.nov/dec) Click search and up will come this Maureen Cooper John J Cope 1934 Oct-Nov-Dec Joyce Cope Terence Copus 1934 Oct-Nov-Dec

Right, back to the 9 months thing! Say you find a birth in jan Qtr 1930 the next child cant possibly be born util at least the DEC qtr of the same year and even that is pushing it,.... a pregnancy lasts nine months.... so you dont have to check EVERY qtr of every year Marriages and death of course you do
