Paul Report 1 Jun 2006 14:55

Hi Lesley, I am really new at this ancestry thing.I haven't managed to get very far and was wondering if you could find anything for me in the 1901 census for Jane Wedgewood b.1890 - either Tyne & Wear or Northumberland. I'm sorry that's all I have. She was my gGrandmother on my father's side but as she would only have been 11 at the time of the census the Reay surname hadn't entered her tree-line yet. Many thanks for any info, thankyou for even looking in the first place - Regards Paul Reay

SANDRA WATTS ************************ As I have already Looked between the yrs 1937 - 1944 for you and it does take quite a while to do it Here is the address for you to look for the Marriage....You have to do it page by page (Alphabetical Order).. Remove the brackets from around the dots. http://www(.)ancestry(.)co(.)uk/search/rectype/vital/freebmd/bmd(.)aspx Click on marriage..then click on Year..click on Jan-Feb-Mar...Click on surname initial.....It will then take you to the 1st page of that initial then keep going through the pages (Alphabetically) til you find your Surname needed and scroll for first name if its not there then click back back back til you get to the Quarters Jan-Feb-Mar etc and click on next Quarter and do the same process....after you have gone through all the quarters if Unsuccessful in finding your name then go to the next yr and do the whole process again.... It is quite time consuming and I would suggest writing down each bit as and when done so you know which you have already looked at.... Good Luck and have fun lol Lesley :~)
