dont now who the spachmans are there just on the document i have from wiltshire family society.can you tell me when you quote the document numbers how can i see all the document . sorry my replys are a little slow Thanks Andy

Andy The HO numbers are for 1841 census to help you find the entry. 1841 census is not yet online in its entirety, so you'll need to see if Wiltshire is available online or go to the FRC.[family records centre, in London, which has all the censuses]. Incidentally HO stands for Home Office and the 1841 and 1851 censuses have these numbers. 1861 onwards has RG for Registrar General, so 1861 is RG9 plus the piece & folio numbers & pages, RG 10 is 1871 and so on. nell

Willaim and jane spackman, appear at best to live in the same house or are maybe even only neighbours , i'd leave then out of things until you come across something that say they are related , because i am not sure that they are
