Also couldn't Clifford and the mystery Thynne be part of the missing data? You know how some of the year quarters are missing?

Bethany

Bethany Report 15 Feb 2006 22:38

I am looking myself. Yes I found Eva too. Quite a mystery as to where Clifford is as he's one of the only ones who I was sure existed! Thanks for your help Jess and it would be fantastic if you looked in the morning please. I'm going to pop into the city library some time this weekend or half term to see if they have the missing years and to try to locate Clifford. Thanks again, Beth

what missing years? I havent found any missing years! You'd be better off continuing to look onwards for Clifford

Bethany

Bethany Report 15 Feb 2006 22:41

I mean the missing quarter years. I reckon she could have had babies from the marriage up until she was forty she certainly didn't hold back did she?! I won't delete it.

Jess Bow Bag Report 15 Feb 2006 22:43

which quarters have you spotted as missing that she could concievably have given birth in?

Bethany

Bethany Report 15 Feb 2006 22:43

I just realised she had Eva when she was 47! Poor woman. Quite a mystery eh?!

Bethany

Bethany Report 15 Feb 2006 22:47

I didn't note them. I'll go back and look through then post the reply. But the obvious ones from my notes are sometime between 1909 and 1912 (Corelli and Pearl). And 1913 - 1917 (Hannah and Gilbert) and 1917 - 1922 (Gilbert - Eva)

dont forget there was a war 1914> he may well have been called up,hence the gap. i checked every realistic quater , quarter by quarter for every year. ie a birth , then skip 9 months and start again

Bethany

Bethany Report 15 Feb 2006 22:55

Ooooh yeah that's a good point. Gave poor old Martha a break if that's why! But in 1914 Corelli Sr was 39, so maybe not...he could still be called up then though right?

Jess Bow Bag

Jess Bow Bag Report 15 Feb 2006 22:57

didnt stop him producing Eva in 1922 - how old was he then? they older they get, the less likely we are to find Clifford, anywhere but the Guiness book of records, what else do you know about him? where and when did he die?

Bethany

Bethany Report 15 Feb 2006 23:00

In 1922 they were both 47 - a ripe old age! I think Clifford must have been born between 1909 and 1912 because there's a big gap and during that time they were both 36-39 which makes more sense than having another in their forties...they probably had to slow down because of infertility hence the gaps. I'm going to check if there's any quarterly gaps between 1909 and 1912.

Bethany

Bethany Report 15 Feb 2006 23:02

There's no missing data between 1909 and 1912. Maybe Clifford was his middle name and we should be looking for a C initial?

Jess Bow Bag

Jess Bow Bag Report 15 Feb 2006 23:02

Going to Bed! will look in the morning...like i said about half an hour ago! **Just seen your lat rply. we have found EVERY Thynn born HFWest. with the right MMN and noted them. there were no just C's or (anything) Clifford/ (anything) Clifford or we'd have found them leave it until the morning now jess > 1932 inc- so i dont forget

Bethany

Bethany Report 15 Feb 2006 23:04

Thanks for your help Jess. Night.

Bethany

Bethany Report 15 Feb 2006 23:57

Good idea but Corelli's middle name was James and he married Isabel Griffiths in the same year as Clifford married Violet Ryan. The marriage reg doesn't have his age and I don't own the certificate...suppose buying it would be the next step, but I would rather find it on here or at the library, there must be a way! Also, Corelli is a family name. Corelli James' grandad was Corelli William, so one of them was bound to be named Corelli...it still is a family name come to think of it!
