Dawn - hope this request goes on your thread as it's on page 15 already. Anyway, here goes. Looking for Ann FAWCETT, born somewhere between 1838 and 1844 (depending on whether you look at census age or marriage certificate age) in Glasgow. Parents believed to be Joseph (born c 1791 in Yorkshire) and Ann (born c 1802 in Kent)

Dawn This might be a long shot but could you try looking for a Marriage. I have a VINCENT WILDE in my tree who married a DELPHINA/DULPHINA, but the only thing I know is that Vincent was born in Sancton, Yorkshire and Delphina/Dulphina in Scotland. They had several chidren namely:- Joseph Mathias Wilde born 1856 in Scotland Vincent Wilde born 1862 in Scotland. Thomas Wilde born 1864 in Scotland. James Wilde born 1866 in Scotland. Margaret A Wilde born 1869 in Scotland. Jane Wilde born 1871 in Chester. Would like their Mother's Maiden name if possible. Joy

ISOBEL MCEWAN Hi Isobel There were a number of marriages for a Euphan and Isabel throughout Scotland but this was the only one that I could find after they were born in Dumfries. ELSIE JONES Hi Elsie This was the only David that I could find in Argyle near to 1838, maybe he's yours! I know some of my family in Scotland are down as being born in one town but are listed as being born in the next town. Not sure if this is the case with your David. Sorry I couldn't help more. JOAN DOBSON Hi Joan I had a look for Isabella but that name only went up to 1860, so I had a look for Sarah in case she was Isabella's sister but again nothing. So I had a look for Charles, the latest of these was in 1854. I know I was clutching at straws but thought there was a good possible that his mum's maiden name was Austin but none came up. Hello, Thank you for this kind offer, I'm really hoping you may be able to help. My 3xGt Grandfather Col(l)in Pennycook (several variations) was born c.1838 Dundee, Co.Angus. His father was also called Colin (from marriage cert.) and was a Flaxdresser. In the Scottish 1841 census they were living at Park Wynd, Dundee Angus. I believe Colins mother may have been called Barbara. I am really stuck on this family. Colin Jnr moved to the Sunderland area, he was there by 1851 census and married in 1857 where his surname was given as Pennecook. But I can find no info. before that. Usual sources are drawing a blank ie Ancestry Scotlandspeople. I've had a quote for a lookup from Scottish Roots but the minimum price was £95! Can you help? Nina

Hi Dawn, Could you please look for the marraige of Elizabeth LittleJohn(1853)fyvie,aberdeenshire,and Thomas Mennie(1847)fyvie. Thier first child was born abt 1871. Also the marraige of Thomas Mennie(1806)Methlick ,aberdeenshire,and Isabella Shand(1817)methlick. Im sorry i dont know of ant siblings except the for mentioned Thomas Mennie(1847). Thanks Sue

If you have time I have another request. Could you please try to locate the MACKIE family at Dalry in Ayrshire. I would like to confirm the marriage of William Mackie to Margaret Crawford in1819 and their children please. I have James c-1820, William c-1823 Elizabeth c-1824, John c-1829. I believe those four came to Australia but can't be certain they are all correct and there was probably more of them. Thanks a lot.....Heather
