Hi Tracey I am so confused! I was hoping to link him with an Annie born in 1889 and she definitely had a step mother and step brothers and sisters but not with these names. I am left wondering if he was an uncle. Hi Tracy Could you please see whether you can find some peeps on the 1841 Derbyshire for me? I've checked several of the discs but I've no idea where they might be and there's no name index. And I'm a wimp when my eyes start hurting! Ann Smithard/Smithard, aged about 65-70. I know she was still alive as I have her death cert in 1843. James Smitherd/Smithard, wife Frances, both aged about 35-40. Catharine Keeling aged about 40-45. If she and her husband are still alive, he's James. Hi Tracy thanks i think the John Henry could be right but can not find him on 1901 census but will save that for a later check.Not sure about the Alice Wootton though as i have my nans birth certificate on it her mother is just Alice Wootton also have her death certificate in 1950 she was 79 but no middle name was recorded .No marriage certificate as i just can not find when she married my gr.grandad John Henry Paul i know it should be between 1891/1899 but have lost money trying for searches with GRO.Thanks again anyway Regards Christine

Hello again Tracy This is i know along shot but could you see if you can find a marriage between John Henry Paul and Alice Wootton although i have no idea where they married it is sometime between 1891 and 1896 maybe then i could send for certificate and find out who is who then.??? Thanks Tracy i am totally confused she was a servant and met him he was born middle of westminster in 1841 it even says the time on his birth certificate.There was 30 years difference in age they had about 9 children in Isle of Wight maybe they married later. Hi Tracy sorry me again just found a marriage in Isle of WIGHT for John Henry Paul in 1907 but no wife so do not know if its Alice Wootton is there away you can see who he married .???fingers crossed Regards Christine
