Thanks Susan. I was hoping a second pair of eyes would help. Sorry the hole is so big. Dates have been taken from Arthur LEWSLEY's second marriage in 1900 and information on marriage certificate of another son. Lynne

Hello Sharon Here you go, a lot to digest, but it looks like Jacob and Harriet were married twice. Have managed to trace Jacob back to 1861 showing his parents, but cant trace Harriet, if you apply for their marriage it should give their father's names and also should show Harriet's other surnames Hope it helps Regards Sue Jacob SMITH Record Type: Births Quarter: September Year: 1845 District: Tendring County: Essex Volume: 12 Page: 262 1901 Census RG13/1694 Folio 10 Page 11 594 Chapel Road, Beaumont with Moze, Essex (District of Tendering) Jacob Smith, Head, Married, 55, Farm Labourer, b. Dear Susan, Thanks for your kind offer. I don’t think I’ve asked you these before! I get a bit lost with my family info! Could you look up the following for me please? Nancy Ellen Hadfield born abt 1860 Stockport, Cheshire. I’d like to find her in 1861 or 1871, probably still in Stockport or moved to the Manchester area. William Green born in Westhoughton Lancashire in 1846/7, I’d like to find him there in 1861 or moved to Hindley. He may have a brother James of about the same age. I have him in 1851 and his mother may be Mary. Joseph Bailey born abt 1848 in Staffordshire. I’d like to find him in 1851, 1861 or 1871 there. I’d also like to find him and his wife Emily Jane in 1891 or 1901 in Westleigh Lancashire. Finally, I’m looking for Harriet Frances Ingham in 1891 in Failsworth, she would be a widow aged about 50. Its rather a lot but I’d be grateful for any help. Thanks once again for your offer and best of luck with your own research Jane
