Hello Gemma, Thank you for your kind offer..My "phantoms" are Philip Daley and his son William. Philip served in the Royal Artillary 1870-1880 at Agra and Barrackpore. I have found one son, but can't find William, born about 1876, (Bengal). Many thanks, Kaye.

Hi Gemma Do you have any Sugden or Davis names between 1864 & 1876, possibly in Secunderabad and/or Bangalore? John Sugden & Joseph Davis were both in 18th Hussars. John & Elizabeth Sugden had 4 daughters in Secunderabad, John died of cholera c1871 and Elizabeth then married Joseph Davis & they had a son before returning to England in 1876. Would love to find out if there are certificates available for any of the births, John's death or Elizabeth & Joseph's marriage. Many thanks, Richard
