Hi Mary. Could you look on 1891 & 1901 census for Elizabeth A Brear(married name) b1867, Pudsey Yorkshire. She should be living with husband Thomas Brear, possibly in Bradford. Wanting to know if they had any children. Any help would be much appreciated. Angela.

Hi Constance, Thanks for offering to do look ups, I'm sorry I haven't got much info but wondered if you could search for Richard James & Elizabeth Grafton in 1861 Oxfordshire. They were married around 1865 & their daughter, Louisa (my partners grandmother) was born in 1882 in Chipping Norton. Please don't spend ages looking, I know its a long shot. Thanks Di

Patricia I have not been able to find your Dummer family in 1891,I have tried many different spellings but they are just not coming up. Did you mean 1885 for the marriage you have for him? sorry Mary

Hi Mary Thanks very much - no I'd missed her on the 1901 for some reason! I'm not suprised she's missing from 71/91 - her mother and brother are too. Thanks again - hope you come unstuck soon - I could do with Bucks 1861 myself :) David

Hi Ann of Perth I think I may have the Ebsworth marriage for you as follows: Henry John Ebsworth m Mary Elizabeth Biggs Dec 1868 registered at Brentford Vol 3a Page 67. I have 2 possibilities for the Hatherall marriage William Hatherall m March 1844 registered at Thornbury Vol 11 Page 467.I found this on 1837 online so I have no idea who the bride was .The only way you will know is if you send for the certificate. AND on IGI on LDS site William Henry Hatherall m Ann Maria Lewin 6 May 1844 at St Leonards Shoreditch. I leave you to make a decision as to which one may be the relevant one. Regards Mary

Hi Patricia Sorry but those dates are outside the area covered at present by Ancestry,if you could narrow it down a bit someone may look on 1837 online if they have any spare credits they need to use up. Mary

Mary Would you be able to see if there is anything to do with a Leah Cox b.c.1827 in Ibstone? Also an Emmanuel Norris b.c. 1825 in Turville? They must have married in the 1840s in that area. Thankyou. Sarah.

Hi Mary You kindly provided me with lots of information on the Speight Family of London. I now am stuck a bit further forward with the Ryder (Rider) family. I would appreciate it if you could look on the 1891 census for either a William or Henry Ryder (Rider) William Ryder married on 28th Jan 1895 aged 22 in Bethnal Green. His occupation was a Fish Porter and he resided at 15 New Tyssen (Tysson) Street. His father was Jacob Ryder (deceased) Harnessmaker. By the 1901 census he had changed his name to henry! but was still at 15 New Tyssen street Bethnal Green. His age was recorded as 30 and he was a coal dealer with his own account. His birth place is recorded as N.K. Thanks Helen

Hi Mary I don't know if you can help me - I am not looking for a person but details of a place. My great grandfather's sister died in 'The Convent' at Roath, Glamorgan in 1877 of TB. On the 1881 census there many women recorded in the 'RC Home for Fallen Women' in Roath and I would like to know if these two places are one and the same. I believe the 1901 can give a description of Institutions. Many thanks Mary
