Hi Debbie C I would love to help you find Annie but I need a little bit more info if possible like a place in Yorkshire to start looking. This census hasn't got a name index and as there is 31 cd to search it would take me ages. The only thing I can do in the mean time is keep an eye out for her while I'm doing other look-ups. I hope you understand,Sorry I can't be more helpful.Hopefully someone else can be Chris

Does anyone have information about the Strong Family, they lived near or in Rotherham. I've got to Francis William Strong circa 1870's an Iron Moulder. I've just started so he is as far back as I've got. Mike

Hi Chris, If you are still doing these lookups can I ask about my husband's GG Grandmother? Ellen LONSDALE born Dishforth, Yorks and would be about 14 in 1871. By 1881 census she had married (surname Pease) and was living in Tower Street, Richmond, Yorks with two children. If you find anyone likely I'd love to know who her parents and siblings were. Thanks, Linda

Hi To everyone I do look-ups for. Just because I can't find your ancestors dosen't mean they aren't there. There is a number of reasons I can't find them 1/ I can't read the writing 2/ The writing is that bad the World and his Wife can't read the writing 3/ I have missed them If the latter is the case I am very sorry, please accept my appologises. Good luck to you all in you search's Chris

Hi again Chris You tried to find someone for me last November without success. Could I ask you for another look up if you're still willing ? On the 1881 I have Agnes Darling White age 50 born Berwick on Tweed. She is a widow living with her sons Matthew age 15, Christopher age 26 & Agnes aged 8. The family are living in Kingston on Hull. I know her late husbands name was also Matthew but have nothing further on him. Finding out his age and place of birth would be a great help. Could you look for them in the district of Pickering where I think they were still living in 1871. Many thanks Terry on the Rock

Hi Terence I'm afraid I'm still having no luck finding your ancestors I've looked in the Pickering area for your White family with no success. I am doing a look-up in the Hull area for someone else, so will keep an eye out for them for you just in case they are there already. Chris
