I am looking for James Palmer. In 1851 I think I've found him born Stansted and living in Stansted; a widow with 3 children George c1839, Alfred c1839 and Thomas c1846 they are all living with his widowed mother Ann. By 1861 he is married to Sarah and is an Agricultural Labourer with 2 children Elisa and George. Would like to find out what he was doing in 1841 if you can help please.

Hi Robyne, Thanks for the info re THOMAS RODWAY c1785....The children I have listed for him are.... Mary Ann c1806 Helen c1809 William c1812 Eliza c1814........all born Tirley/Lusby... There may have been children later but as yet I haven't found them If you can find this family in 1841 Gloucestershire it would be a great help. I should say I have found a THOMAS RODWAY in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire in 1851 he is listed as a Widow and a visitor. His occupation is listed as a 'Groom' I think. Many thanks again for your time. Pam
