I hesitate to use the word 'expert', but I do have in my house various atlases, dictionaries and history books, including a fair bit on London. I know a bit about London suburbs in the north (Stoke Newington), west (Hillingdon) and south (Croydon) as well as Richmond, Surrey. If I can help, I will. Prefer requests on the boards because others who are more expert can help and also the info may be of use to other people, but e-mail is OK if it is a sensitive issue. I've also been to Family Records Centre, National Archives Kew, Richmond local history centre, Buckinghamshire studies centre and Cambridge records office so know a bit about them. nell
