My daughter has this allergy, she first found out when she went to the gym and did exercise with those things that look like large rubber bands, face started to swell, also eyes and mouth, she was told to take an anti histamine and it went she didn' know that it had been caused by the band only found this out later. When a friends daughter was getting married and we went to help get the reception venue decorated and offered to blow up the balloons, daughter ended up being taken to hospital face so bad couldn't see, people waiting in emergency room thought she had been beaten up! she now has to tell doctor, dentist, ect not to tough her with latex and cannot let her children have balloons or let them get near her.
