Amanda, they were the last words I said to my Dad too.

Uzzi, I still haven't got used to his Sunday mornign phone calls and his voice always said ' Howdo!' If the phone rings on a Sunday, I still half expect to hear that.

this will be my first fathers day without my dad too. He died in April and I'm still struggling with the fact that I'll never see him again.

My Dad died 4 years ago this year too..............I miss him still and always will, but have so many lovely memories of him.

I have lost my dear Dad too.

It's just over 6 years but miss him lots.

He was a 'new man' for his time and like someone else said on this thread, could, and would, do anything in the home. Cook, clean, iron etc. My Mum, and us, were so fortunate to have had him...and we knew it.
