Have tried the following:
Patches
Pills
inhalaters
Stop Smoking clinics

none of which have worked in the past so am going to try will power and "Cold Turkey"

Wish me luck

will let you know how it goes

Just look at that ciggie study it ,then ask it who has the most control over my body the ciggie or me?
I bet you every time you ask it should be YOU that has the MOST control,
Now you are listening to a very heavy smoker or over 40 yrs plus
I gave up on that alone !.....

Am A MAN
Have just been in contact with local NHS Quitline looking for support groups and have found one.

Starts on 23 July at the local hospital

Am going to give this a real go this time am sick of being short of breath and money.

looking towards a smoke free future

Support group lasts for 7 weeks but am going to try and stop beforehand

not had 1 today
had my last at 1030 last night

I was really fed up with the habit so that is the frame of mind that you should be in,

OH doesnt smoke and has not badgered me to stop. Have decided to stop for 2 reasons

I did it cold turkey and I believe.... for me... that was the only way.

Go for it. I have tried the patches and everything else, including attending no smoking classes.

In February this year i decided the only way was "COLD TURKEY" not easy but i have managed it, although in the early stages i succumbed one or two times.

I was a smoker for 50 years.Never thought i would do it but i have.

Thanks for all the support so far am going to take it all on board.

will keep you posted as to how I get on
nearly 17 hours without a smoke dont feel that I need 1 at the moment.
