I don't know anyone who has a perfect life either. Not in the terms you quote.

My life is perfect for me though. the following reasons not in any particular order:

1. I am alive!
2. I have moderately good health
3. I have enough to eat
4. I have a wonderful husband
5. I have a lovely family with 5 great grandchildren who are by no means perfect!!
6. I have a roof over my head
7. I have a house i like and a garden i love
7. I can afford (just) to keep warm
8. I have good friends
9. I have interesting hobbies to keep my mind active.
10. I enjoy modest holidays.

I suppose what is perfect to one person would be the opposite to another. And, as you say we have worked for ours and brought our children up to be respectable adults with moderately well behaved children. That gives us a lot of satisfaction.

I am one of those that get to sit in the beautiful sunshine all day, if I wanted to but prefer to bitch and complain that it is too hot and I can't sleep.

The grass always looks greener on the otherside.

well first of all - money doesn't buy happiness, health or perfection!!

if the world was perfect I don't think we would like it - there would be nothing to strive for would there

everyone has some imperfection in their life, whether they admit it or not, it's there believe me

I dont know anyone who has a life described by you Puss - it certainly aint me, or any of my friends.

There is an element of strife in everyone's life at some stage, and some poor souls have more to contend with than others.

It's really a question of counting your blessings at the end of the day, and getting on with your life.

I do find personally, that when the sun shines then I can cope with most things - and guess what? it's shining today so off to hunt slugs and lily beetles - a little murder first thing does wonders for me! )))

Puss, as the saying goes, there's no such thing as a free lunch. All this 'perfect life' has to be paid for. Just think of the size of the mortgages, credit card balances etc of these people who seem to have everything and have a perfect life. What about the husbands that have to work to maintain this life style. Surely it can't go on for ever. There must be a 'melt down' time. And what happens to the ideal life style then.
In my household, in a working class financial environment, we have experienced the highs and the lows, as I am sure many of us has. I much prefer an even keel, and never envy anyone for their lifestyle. I personally cannot understand the high wages of so called footballers. All that money doesn't buy them taste, style, and class. Some of their homes look as if they have come off a Hollywood film set.
Me,I take comfort in one thing. Today,I am taking a solution supplied by the hospital, to clear the bowels, ready for a barium enema tomorrow. This will, hopefully give answers to a problem I have suffered with for four or five years, and which my doctors, prefered to ignore. Those living the perfect life with all their dosh, would still have to have the same treatment even if they went 'private'. Now there is satisfaction

It's a bit early for a profound post but here goes:

I don't think I will ever have the perfect life, why? because I love my family and friends.

That means:
When they are hurt I am hurt.
When they worry I worry.
When they are unwell I worry.
When they are having problems in work I am concerned.
I could go on and on but you will get my drift.

All the above in addition to my health problems I don't think I am going to be living the perect life anytime soon.

I am an optimist by nature, so tend to see the good things in most situations and people.

I don't believe anyone lives the perfect life, but I count my blessings and know, through experiences in my life to date, that some good always comes out of a bad situation.

I am not a materialistic person always wanting new things around me......................just as well really as or finances dictate otherwise:))

I think Ann in Glos has it just about right for me.......as I have always said, I think I have led a charmed life...... not always good, but have the attitude that what has happened and how I have dealt with it, has made me stronger, and I am pleased for that.......also am happy and positive in my outlook, this I was born with......and yes, I do get down sometimes.......and sometimes wonder why some people get all the cr*p in life, and it can pass me by........or it could also be that whatever crops up that is bad in my life......I deal with it, and don't blame the world for my misfortune.......it is not 'why me'......but rather 'why not me'.......

we are all different.....

Morning Puss..... morning everyone!

Me... I love my life, and enjoy everything about it... lol!

I have great kids.... I wouldn't change a thing about them, warts an' all, lol... and their warts have caused a few anxious moments over the years, I can tell you!!!.

I have two beautiful granddaughters... apple of our eyes, both of them, terrible two's not withstanding

My hubby is wonderful... he rarely pays me a verbal compliment which can be a bit of a b , but he never ever criticises me.. and there is a look in his eyes and a little smile that is just for me, and is worth a million trillion little compliments!

I can just about to afford to have little treats... and the visits to my granddaughters are the main ones. But that is because my husband literally put his life on the line for 34 years, and I worked hard for those luxuries, too.

But I have quite a lot of health problems that mean that I am unable to work at the moment. There are days when I am in so much pain and discomfort, and even more ditzy than usual!

I have also been at the stage where it is only a day past pay day and there is no money left in the coffers, with two toddlers to feed! We always managed somehow!

I still think that my life is perfect, though.... I enjoy so much the good days, as they are what makes the bad days bearable. And of course, it's the bad days that make you appreciate the good days so much more!!

I wouldn't want mega riches... just enough to continue enjoying what I have right this minute.... and even if all the material things went, I still have people who love me and care about me... warts and all!

That, for me, is perfection!

Love

Daff xxxx

Pus, would you swap your life and family for someone else's?

I KNOW the answer is a resounding NOOOOOOO!

So there you are love.... you have Your
perfect life!
Be content with it, as we all have to be.

I have a man in a million whom I would cheerfully 'slaughter' on a regular basis!

I have a son who has had one problem after the other for years now and he still laughs... I love him, I like him, and ....I could slaughter him on a regular basis!

I have a nice little warm home... which badly needs a cleaner fitter that we are.
If I counted my blessings one by one.... I would be here all day.
AND so would you Pus.
You have it all love... the troubles and worries as well.

NO ONE has a perfect life.... ALL their life.
Things change from good to bad and back again.

Pinks had it in one.... perfectly chaotic .

live love and be happy... it is all we have.
