My cat used to ignore me regularly. Very hurtful, he was!

But he didn't care a bit except when he sat on my lap on a cold winter's evening. Those cuddles did us both a bit of good though! Wouldn't be without him - no matter!

We have two cats who are both very affectionate up until the point where we use our opposable thumbs to open food for them, and after that they simply ignore us.

We have become used to our Servant Status
