I hope that's the case, Sheila - that the 99 years stand.

I think grandad thought he would have had the plot for more than the 46 years it was there.
He died in 1956, before the new regulations came into place.
BUT - even if he had been alive, how would they have contacted him? A lot of Southampton was destroyed in the war, including the house he lived in, and the family were evacuated to the New Forest.
