	I agree, Jean, in fact I never wate any food, there is always another meal to make with a little ingenuity. My Mam taught me well. :-)

	Yes our mums taught us well. Mother said to all 6 of us. "waste not want not" Today i peeled and cooked 3 eating apples that were past there best. Put into the freezer, to be used as apple sauce. there no need for waste, when most homes now have a freezer.
